KYLE & LINDSAY'S WILD WEDDING

SNEAK PEEK

On July long weekend I packed up my camera and headed out to a spot not too far from home, but remote enough to make me think I was quite a distance from civilization.  Okay... well except for the sound of the Canadian Pacific railway, but the wild Kumsheen River helped to drown out any other sounds around us.
As I entered my large canvas tent,  I felt as if I had gone back in time, as it was filled with old wooden furniture, and antique items from the Gold Rush era...very nostalgic.  This all just makes me appreciate even more what I do, and reminds me of how lucky I am to be doing what I do. Not only have I met many amazing people along the way, but I have been able to experience, and take in the beauty that B.C. has to offer, and it just continues to get better and better!  Thank you Kyle and Lindsay, for sharing your special piece of heaven...Josh (My husband) and I have already discussed another trip back in the near future...the rafting trip may have helped to inspire us to return... what a wild ride!  I wish Lindsay and Kyle as wild of a ride through their adventurous days together as one!
Stay tuned, as I will be posting more in the next week or so!
ENJOY!!!

Puppy Love

My good friend, and Realtor Darryl Reuter and some of his collegues organized a fantastic SPCA Golf tournament the other week "Homes for Hounds"  Now that the governement has cut all the funding for these types of organizations....BOO... it is up to us to make the difference, and to let these furry, feathery, and scaley friends of ours have the life they deserve!   Even though I was unable to attend the tournament I did my part and donated a $200 Photography package for someone and thier animal to use together! Donations can be made through the SPCA website, and or at your local SPCA location!
Thanks to everyone that participated in this awesome event I believe they raised over $20,000!!!!

No time waisted!

My friend Jackie is back from NYC for the summer and she's waisted no time getting back into what she loves.  Yes I'm sure it's a bit of a difference working with higher end designers in NYC, compared to Kelowna, however she's got quite a collection in her closet and has been sharing her inspiring views with Model Kaeli and I.  Welcome back for the summer Jackie, it's always a pleaseure working with you!  P.S.  Check out Jackie's Fashion Column in the Kelowna Daily Courier, "Closet Talk" every Saturday!

Small, Short & Sweet! (Ed & Gloria)

Yesterday I had the privilege of starting off this "Looong time coming spring," with a beautiful wedding in Penticton B.C.  Ed and Gloria announced their lifetime of love for one another in the gorgeous setting of the Japenese gardens, with the Okanagan lake as their backdrop...not too shabby!  Eventhough the celebration was small, short and sweet I was still able to capture some fantastic shots of the two love birds.  Thanks to Ed and Gloria for a fabulous spring day!
As the weather starts warming up you will see me come out of hybernation...with my camera.  Stay posted as there will be more photographs from engagements, weddings, mothers to be, families, and I may just find some time to shoot some more landscape!
Cheers and Enjoy!
