A WEDDING DAY WITH RAIN = GOOD LUCK! (SEAN & CHRISTINE)

Kelowna to most people is a popular place to visit in the summer time, not only for it's wineries, tasty fresh fruit, and the beautiful refreshing Okanagan lake, but a place to come and soak up some guaranteed sunshine.  With our summers lasting a lot longer here than in other regions, we are even lucky enough to have some of the most beautiful fall seasons around...and because of this Kelowna is a hot spot for destination weddings, even if you are already from Canada or BC.  Over the years I have realized that majority of my wedding couples have been from other provinces in this vast country, and I think it might have to do with what I have mentioned above.
A few weeks ago, it was my absolute pleasure to photograph Sean and Christine's wedding.  They travelled all the way from Saskatoon to have their wedding ceremony and celebration at the Hotel Eldorado here in Kelowna.  Even though it was early September, and we had been enjoying some hot sun the week prior... it was not looking promising for sunny weather the day of their outdoor boardwalk ceremony.  After moving the wedding ceremony inside during an extremely rainy day, this couple finally got to celebrate what they came here for.
Congratulations Sean and Christine, the rain may have slowed the photography process down a tad, but we sure got some good ones....
Besides a wedding day with rain = good luck!  Thanks again.

WHAT A SIGHT TO SEE! (SHAWNEE & JORDAN'S WEDDING)

This day could not have been any more perfect, and as photographer you do think that with every wedding of course, but to have the perfect amount of cloud in the sky, an adorable couple beautifully dressed, and a roof top ceremony at the Eldorado over looking the lake & mountains...what a sight to see!
Shawnee and Jordan not only had a beautiful set up for their ceremony, but what really stood out to me which I could not capture as a photographer, was the popular rock and alternative music done with an instrumental twist for their ceremony.  Definitely some of the best choices made by a bride and groom that I have heard.

We had lots of time after the ceremony to venture off to many different locations for pictures, which is another photographer's dream.  This always allows for uniqueness and variety when shooting, especially when the group is as fun as this bridal party was, there's no telling what you'll capture and where you'll capture it, but you know it will be good!

The whole day shooting I was fortunate to share some photo time with a good friend of the bride and groom; he was looking for some wedding photography experience, as he regularly does event photography for major occasions such as Centre of Gravity.
Thanks for coming along Kane...And Thank you Shawnee and Jordan for having me be the one to capture your moments!!!
